Event Halls Directory Terms & Conditions

1. General Terms

By joining the AroundManchester.com® Event Halls Directory, venue operators agree to these terms and conditions. AroundManchester.com® is operated by Tsunagi Limited, registered in England & Wales (Company No. 16808727).

2. Eligibility

  • Venue owners, operators, and authorised managers may apply for listing.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to operate in the United Kingdom.
  • Venues must be available for lawful event use and comply with local authority requirements.

3. Licensing & Insurance

  • Venues must hold all required premises licences, permissions, and event-related approvals where applicable.
  • Public liability insurance must be maintained and available on request.
  • Any entertainment, alcohol, or late-hour permissions must be accurately disclosed in listing details.

4. Venue Standards

  • Capacity limits, layout formats, and facilities must reflect actual venue capability.
  • Accessibility, parking, and safety information must be clear and not misleading.
  • Critical restrictions (noise limits, curfews, prohibited uses) must be clearly stated.

5. Health & Safety

  • Operators must comply with all applicable health and safety legislation.
  • Fire safety arrangements and emergency procedures must be maintained and current.
  • Risk controls for guests, staff, and contractors must be appropriate to venue use.

6. Bookings & Payments

  • AroundManchester.com® facilitates connections only and does not manage bookings, deposits, or contracts.
  • All booking agreements are between venue operators and clients directly.
  • Pricing, deposit terms, and cancellation policies must be provided clearly before confirmation.

7. Listing Information

  • All listing content must remain accurate, current, and representative of the venue.
  • Photo galleries and amenity lists must reflect the current venue setup.
  • Outdated or inaccurate listing details may result in listing suspension.

8. Content Guidelines

  • Listing content must be suitable for all audiences and professional use.
  • No unlawful, discriminatory, or misleading promotional claims are allowed.
  • AroundManchester.com® reserves the right to edit or remove inappropriate content.

9. Testimonials & Reviews

  • Testimonials must be genuine and based on real client engagements.
  • Fake or manipulated reviews are prohibited.
  • Non-verifiable testimonial claims may be removed.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • AroundManchester.com® acts only as a directory platform.
  • We do not employ or represent listed venue operators.
  • We are not liable for event outcomes, venue suitability, or contractual disputes between parties.

11. Data Protection

  • Venue operator data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Contact details may be displayed to enable direct enquiry from potential clients.
  • Client data gathered through enquiries must be handled in compliance with UK GDPR.

12. Founder Price Guarantee Clarification

  • The AroundManchester.com® first 1,000 joiners lifetime pricing guarantee applies only to the main virtual tour directory service.
  • AroundMCR coming-soon sections, including Event Halls, are not participating services in that lifetime pricing guarantee system.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
