Security Services Directory Terms & Conditions

1. General Terms

By joining the AroundManchester.com® Security Services Directory, providers agree to these terms and conditions. AroundManchester.com® is operated by Tsunagi Limited, registered in England & Wales (Company No. 16808727).

2. Eligibility

  • Security firms and authorised representatives may apply for listing.
  • Providers must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to operate in the United Kingdom.
  • All listed security services must be lawful and professionally delivered.

3. Licensing & Insurance

  • SIA licensing details must be accurate and current for all relevant service roles.
  • Public liability insurance and any required sector-specific cover must be maintained.
  • Compliance evidence may be requested before listing publication or renewal.

4. Professional Standards

  • Service claims must reflect actual staffing, training, and operational capability.
  • Providers must maintain professional conduct and lawful incident handling procedures.
  • Coverage scope, response times, and deployment limits must be communicated clearly.

5. Legal Compliance

  • Providers are responsible for complying with all UK legal and regulatory requirements applicable to their services.
  • Where surveillance services are offered, operations must follow relevant privacy and data laws.
  • Any subcontracting arrangements must preserve the same compliance standards shown in the listing.

6. Contracts & Payments

  • AroundManchester.com® facilitates introductions only and does not manage operational contracts or payments.
  • All service contracts are between the provider and client directly.
  • Rates, minimum callout terms, cancellation terms, and response commitments must be clear before engagement.

7. Listing Information

  • All listing details must be accurate, current, and not misleading.
  • Licence status, service types, and coverage areas must be kept up to date.
  • Listings may be paused where critical compliance details expire or become inaccurate.

8. Content Guidelines

  • Profile content must be suitable for all audiences and professional use.
  • No deceptive, unlawful, or discriminatory claims are permitted.
  • AroundManchester.com® reserves the right to edit or remove inappropriate listing content.

9. Testimonials & Claims

  • Testimonials must be genuine and capable of verification.
  • Fabricated reviews or misleading claims of accreditation are prohibited.
  • Unverified testimonial content may be removed.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • AroundManchester.com® operates as a directory platform only.
  • We do not employ, supervise, or represent listed security providers.
  • We are not liable for provider performance, incident outcomes, or contractual disputes between parties.

11. Data Protection

  • Provider data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Visible contact details may be used by potential clients for direct enquiries.
  • All enquiry-related data must be managed in line with UK GDPR obligations.

12. Founder Price Guarantee Clarification

  • The AroundManchester.com® first 1,000 joiners lifetime pricing guarantee applies only to the main virtual tour directory service.
  • AroundMCR coming-soon sections, including Security Services, are not participating services in that lifetime pricing guarantee system.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
