Membership Snapshot
Fair, transparent, and contract-free. Your join number sets your default position; visitors can still filter and sort how they like.
- Service Fee: £250 + VAT per year per business location; hosting and delivery on AroundManchester.com included.
- Invoices arrive up to 30 business days before renewal; renewals left unpaid seven days after the anniversary lapse membership and discounts.
- You can prepay up to 30 years from your original join date to lock the rate and your discount tier; no automated payments.
- Join numbers stay with the original legal entity and trading name. Rebrands, new owners, or new incorporations require a new listing and join number on the then-current pricing.
- No commission, no hidden fees. Optional extras are clearly itemised on the Service Fees page.
- Medium and large companies follow bespoke pricing; call or email to scope multi-site needs.
Discount Tiers by Join Number
- Joins 1–100: 50% off the Service Fee for life while membership stays uninterrupted.
- Joins 101–500: £125 + VAT per year for the first six full years; from year seven the standard Service Fee applies with a permanent 20% loyalty discount while active.
- Joins 501–1000: 25% off (£187.50 + VAT) for the first ten continuous renewals before reverting to the prevailing Service Fee.
- Joins 1001+: Standard Service Fee currently £250 + VAT per year.
Refund Policy – AroundManchester.com
- Completed Services: Once photography and hosting services have been delivered, refunds are not available unless the service has not been provided with reasonable care and skill or does not match the description agreed at the time of booking.
- Partial Refunds: If you cancel before the service is fully delivered, any refund is reduced proportionately to reflect the value of work already completed. Where the value of completed work exceeds the refundable amount, no refund will be due. Once a listing is live, refunds are not available. If we have already visited the premises to shoot, any partial refund is at our discretion, capped at 50% of the total price. A refund charge fee of approximately 5% of the total price is invoiced separately and must be paid before any partial refund is released.
- Statutory Rights: This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Customers are entitled to remedies if services are not delivered with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time, or as described. See Accepting returns and giving refunds: the law (GOV.UK) and the full legislation text at Consumer Rights Act 2015 (Legislation.gov.uk).
- VAT handling: Refund calculations apply to the total price including VAT. Any refundable VAT is returned only on the refunded portion. The separate refund charge fee is invoiced plus VAT (where applicable) and is not refundable.
- Example A (50% partial refund): Total price £1,000. Partial refund at 50% = £500. Refund charge fee at 5% of total = £50, invoiced separately before the refund is initiated (VAT added where applicable). Net effect: you pay the £50 refund fee (+VAT), and £500 is returned; total cost retained for completed work = £500.
- Example B (30% partial refund): Total price £1,000. Partial refund at 30% = £300. Refund charge fee at 5% of total = £50, invoiced separately before the refund is initiated (VAT added where applicable). Net effect: we retain £700 for completed work, you pay the £50 refund fee (+VAT), and £300 is returned.

Join Number & Ranking
Listings are ordered by join number by default. Early supporters earn higher default visibility; users can still sort alphabetically, by category, or by newest.
- Your join number is assigned when you sign up and stays with that legal entity and trading name.
- Each physical location receives its own join number and listing.
- Lapsed membership forfeits discounts and ranking; restarting creates a new join number under the then-current pricing.
Founder Spots: One Per Business
Join numbers 1–1,000 are Founder Spots with discounted pricing tiers. To ensure as many different businesses as possible can benefit from these limited spots:
- Only your first location can claim a Founder Spot (join numbers 1–1,000).
- Second and subsequent locations for the same business are assigned join numbers above 1,000 at the standard Service Fee.
- Your original location keeps its Founder pricing and ranking permanently (while membership remains active).
This policy maximises the number of unique businesses that can access early-adopter discounts and visibility benefits.
What's Included
The Service Fee bundles the core imagery + accessibility package for your listing.
- One 360 image to anchor your profile, plus 2–3 external 360 views for wayfinding and 1–2 accessibility-focused 360 captures.
- One interior focal 360 (reception/front-of-house) and a venue gallery of up to 12 curated photographs.
- Menu imagery and up to 12 product images, including three promoted product shots. Additional images are currently £5 + VAT each (introductory pricing).
- Hosting and delivery of every asset on AroundManchester.com is included; no separate hosting conversation.
- Optional extras: additional 360 scenes at £50 + VAT per scene; menu renewals £50 + VAT; gallery or product image expansion £5 + VAT per image; embed licensing for streaming your tour on your own site is available as a paid service.
- Clear business details, contact methods (at least one of phone or email), address, district placement, and accessibility notes.

What We Need From You
To create your listing, please provide the following information:
Essential Information
Business name, full address, phone number, email address, website (if applicable), and business category.
Description
A brief description of your business, the services you offer, and what makes you unique (50-200 words ideal).
Optional Extras
High-quality photos, opening hours, social media links, and any special features you'd like to highlight.
On-Site Visit
We always visit your premises in person. First, we'll meet to verify your business details and provide a preparation instructions sheet. Then, on a second visit, we'll capture all the content and images for your virtual tour.
Venue Gallery Images
During our visit, we also create professional location images for your venue gallery. These showcase your premises from multiple angles to give customers a complete picture of your business.
Promotional Product Images
We can photograph your products during our visit, or you can send us your own images. Any style works as long as the product is clearly identifiable and the image is high resolution quality.

We welcome all legitimate businesses operating in the Greater Manchester area and beyond. This includes:

Requirements:
- Registered business with HMRC and Companies House
- Proof of Public Liability Insurance must be presented for participation
- One Service Fee and join number per business location; each location is listed separately.
- Join numbers remain with the original legal entity and trading name; rebrands, new owners, or new incorporations require a new listing and pricing tier.
- Invoices are issued up to 30 business days before renewal; unpaid renewals seven days past the anniversary lapse membership and discounts.
Note: We are currently unable to offer listings to sole traders. Only registered businesses with full insurance coverage are eligible. We reserve the right to decline listings that do not meet our editorial standards or are deemed inappropriate for our directory.
